Our Owner
Steve Cruz is the owner and craftsman behind this Catholic woodshop. A United States Air Force veteran and a recent convert to the Catholic faith, Steve approaches his work with discipline, humility, and deep devotion.
As a stepfather to three children, Steve understands the importance of faith lived out in the home. His family is at the heart of his work, and his role as a husband and father continually shapes the pieces he creates. These items meant to be present in everyday family life, not stored away.
Our Inspiration
St. Joseph serves as the spiritual inspiration behind this woodshop. As a faithful husband, devoted father, and humble carpenter, St. Joseph embodies the quiet strength, obedience, and craftsmanship that guide Steve’s work.
As both a woodworker and a stepfather, Steve looks to St. Joseph as a model of faithful leadership and service. Every piece is created with the intention of honoring God through honest work, just as St. Joseph did.
